The Jaguar is found from South West U.S.A to
South Central Argentina. It has a yellow
tawny coat with black rings and spots; some
rings surround the spots, a feature which
distinguishes it from a LEOPARD. No other
wild CAT is as heavy as the jaguar. From nose
to tail, the jaguar is longer than a man, and
may be nearly twice mans weight. They live in
hot, wet forests. They leap from trees onto
wild deer and pigs. They can also catch
turtles, alligators and fish.
